Healing. Home. Hope.

Your support today helps create sanctuary and healing for women survivors of prostitution and exploitation.

What we do

We’re on a mission to provide a safe space and pathways to empowerment for survivors of sex trafficking.

Hestia’s Hearth aspires to provide housing, employment, and health services to women survivors of exploitation and prostitution. Based in Morristown, New Jersey, we are creating sanctuary and support to enable survivors to heal and reclaim their lives and purpose.

Through our two-year program, we plan to provide survivors a safe haven and the opportunity to learn new life skills, fostering the tight bonds of a lifelong sisterhood. Their strength and your support will help break the cycle of abuse, opening new doors of opportunity.

No human should be for sale.

Every day, innocent women are tricked into prostitution. It just takes access to the internet for our daughters, granddaughters, sisters, and friends to be drawn into the dangerous world of exploitation. So many are vulnerable and the need to aid women victims in New Jersey is real. We invite you to view one survivor’s story, courtesy of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Hestia's Hearth Two Survivors Sit Side by Side

Nothing is impossible and survivors are proof.

We have met women who have completely transformed their lives, overcoming the extraordinary challenge of addiction, regaining their dignity and independence, and embarking on productive careers and loving family relationships. It is both their need for a second chance and the continued evidence of their successes that inspire us to face the challenges of bringing Hestia’s Hearth to life.

We are as determined to build our program and offer the means to break the cycle of abuse and addiction as these women are to start their lives anew. We’re leaving our doors wide open for you to join us, so please connect and join our growing team.

What is sex trafficking?

Sex trafficking is a crime, and it is happening in New Jersey. In 2021, the National Human Trafficking Hotline identified 151 cases of trafficking in New Jersey involving 466 victims. Since many victims of sex trafficking do not identify as victims, these numbers represent only a portion of women trapped in this cycle of abuse.

Often, victims are not even aware that they are being exploited. It is up to all of us to become aware and respond appropriately.
